ESOGU Awarded “Zero Waste Certificate”
Eskişehir Osmangazi University has officially been granted the Zero Waste Certificate (Basic Level) by the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The certificate, dated 23 May 2025, confirms that the University has successfully established and implemented a Zero Waste Management System in accordance with Türkiye’s Zero Waste Regulation published in the Official Gazette on 12 July 2019.
The certification covers the ESOGU Rectorate Building/Campus, recognizing the university’s efforts to reduce waste at its source, increase recycling, and promote environmentally responsible practices across campus operations.
This achievement marks an important milestone in ESOGU’s sustainability journey and reinforces the university’s commitment to environmental protection, resource efficiency, and a greener campus aligned with national and international sustainability goals.
